We are Royal Docks Community Church

and we love serving this special part of London

We are a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive congregation - meeting for worship on Sundays with refreshments from 5pm in Britannia Village Hall. Our hour-long service starts at 5.30pm and usually consists of worship, a talk & response time - with time to chat and catch up afterwards. A well organised children's group and creche are available for little ones. Some of our recent sermons are posted on this website.

Our church steering team currently consists of 8 local, passionate people who want to see Jesus changing lives and transforming this community, led by Minister Helen Fernandes.

We run various midweek groups for prayer and fellowship and have launched a charity called ‘Bridges’ which oversees a number of community projects throughout the week too.

This website was made to tell people about ourselves and we hope you'll enjoy browsing news of our past celebrations, upcoming events and links to other local projects and charities we support.

What church means to us..

For us, 'church' describes so much more than our Sunday worship service, the people that attend regularly or the building where we meet. We like to think of our church as having blurry-edges: encompassing all the God-centred work, fun, service and fellowship that happens within our community - whenever, wherever and with whoever is involved with that. You don't have to be a 'member' in order to be considered part of our RDCC family, but for those of us who are, this is what being committed to the church here looks like to us:

LIVING as disciples of Jesus
MEETING regularly - on Sundays and throughout the week
PRAYING for our church and community
Using our gifts while SERVING this place and the people here
SHARING God's good news through what we say and do
WELCOMING others into our community
